Derek Murphy and Orla Nothin' are a real life couple! Living in London with their kitty cat Momo, they spread their legs across the UK and Eire!
Emerging from Theatre Land, they developed a web series and club act, appearing in TV and film, constantly developing new ideas, films and lyrics!

A few (ahem, only a few) years ago Derek & Orla got together with their bestest friend, Amy Spall, and created a brand new Production House, Smurphitonal Productions, bringing the best in comedy to the screen!

Delight Productions
This production company was founded by Artistic Director Derek Murphy in Jan 2019. DK Delight began by producing two very successful 'Delight Night' New Writing nights in 2019, along with the Christmas Storytelling spectacular 'The Delight Before Christmas' in Dec 2019. Continuing their success into 2020 with a staged rehearsed reading of 'Chelsea Perkins', a New full length Play from American writer Aren Haun in Jan 2020. Then a Halloween storytelling event ‘A Frightful Delight' in Oct 2020 and the festive extravaganza ‘The Delight Before Christmas 2’ Dec ‘20.
In 2021 they have produced the St Patrick’s day variety event ‘A Paddy’s Day Delight’.

They have also produced several music videos for Orla Nothin'.
The Spallettes
The wonderful Amy isn't shy of a bit of performing herself, although not under the Smurphitonal banner!

When she isn't behind the camera or in front of an editing suite, she is, along with Helen and Katy, part of a swinging, singing sisterly trio! Performing at fantastic venues such as The Watford Palace, The Riverside, Woodbirdge and with Gary Barlow!

They regularly perform with The Stardust Big Band, which, among other performances, do a fantastic Christmas show that really brings the festive cheer!
